英語表現（３）: On the other hand

日本人が大好きだというOn the other hand
ずっと使い方が分からなくて困っている。
日本語の感覚ではすぐ使いたくなるけど、
昔、Nativeの先生にも、Don't use on the other hand,
みたいなことを言われまくったので、使用を避けるのが、半ばトラウマ化している。

その際は、In contrastを使えと言われたけど、
本当に軽く話題転換したい時は何を使えば良いんだろう？
In contrast, は日本語訳を見ると、対して、という反対の意味が強く出る気がする。

In additionとかBesides (こちらは中国系が多用するという話)のほうが、
native的にはスッキリするんだろうか？
